Where it all began
In 2008 I started working in my brother's phone shop in Neumarkt am Wallersee, close to my hometown of Salzburg, Austria. From managing inventory to building efficient workflows in sales and repair service, every day brought new challenges.
My brother, an entrepreneur with a vision, wanted to grow the business across multiple locations. It was a bold move, and it raised the bar for delivering consistent, outstanding customer service at every single site. His motto, “Our product is service,” inspired me to take on our customers' concerns with genuine joy.
I developed a way to make customers happier the moment they walked through the door. The secret was to get myself into a positive state first. This philosophy became the foundation for everything we did and made sure our happy customers always stayed at the center.
Pretty quickly, though, I realized we lacked the right tools to keep up with these growing demands. The software on the market was too complicated and created new obstacles instead of solving them. So a vision grew in me to build a solution that puts what truly matters first. To deliver first-class service without the needless overhead.

The turning point
After countless frustrating attempts with existing tools, one pivotal call from Andreas Stremler changed everything. He had built a simple repair booking system that inspired us to create something new together. In our first brainstorming sessions, the idea for RepairCMS took shape. That first version, later known as “RepairCMS Repair Center Edition,” offered an easy-to-use booking assistant that quickly became a valuable helper in our workflow.
In 2018 a new era began when we built RepairCMS Alpha with modern technology and a real focus on outstanding usability. But the road was not always easy. When my brother fell ill, I had to carry on alone. That challenge asked a lot of me, yet my promise to keep going kept driving me forward. I came to realize that RepairCMS should be more than just software. It should be a tool that makes everyday work easier and brings joy along the way.
